Slepian's inequality is an important tool in the theory of stochastic processes in general and in theory of Gaussian processes in particular. The inquality comes in many many versions with many different proofs. Some versions are correct, but under unecessary restrictive assumptions. Other versions are wrong (with too few assumptions). In the lecture, I will present a unified and correct version of Slepian's inequality, which covers all applications I know about.
